OUR VISION

We envision a world in which all students, regardless of where they live or what school they attend, have access to quality project-based learning experiences so they can become problem solvers, critical thinkers, and change agents.

OUR MISSION

We strengthen educators' capacity to implement equity-focused instructional practices via project-based learning. We provide the curriculum, coaching, courses, convenings, and community of practice necessary for teachers to design and facilitate impactful project-based learning experiences that empower students to tackle challenges in their school and community.

OUR BELIEFS

  • We help teachers adopt equitable instructional practices that meet their students' academic and social-emotional needs via project-based learning.

  • We help teachers design meaningful project-based learning experiences that encourage students to solve real-world problems.

  • Based on findings from research and reflection, we continuously strive to improve and revise our instructional materials and professional learning opportunities.

  • It takes a coalition of people with diverse perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds to challenge education inequity. We build collaborative relationships with partners supporting teachers directly working with students impacted by education inequity.

  • We understand that teachers working in under-resourced schools may not have access to professional learning or instructional resources to implement project-based learning in their classrooms (without spending their personal time combining resources from various internet sites). Therefore, we provide free, actionable resources on our website for any teacher interested in becoming a high-performance project-based educator.
